OUR MISSION

The Hub connects our community to personalized mental health care, including addiction and recovery resources while educating, reducing stigma, and empowering individuals and families.

Across communities, people have confronted overwhelming challenges: mental health struggles, substance use, and fragmented systems of care that were often impossible to navigate.

In 2019, Philipstown Behavioral Health Hub opened its doors to those struggling to find timely, compassionate, and medically-based mental health support. We are a nonprofit organization offering free services, including care coordination, peer-led support groups, education, and stigma-reduction programming. Every neighbor, regardless of insurance or income, can find timely help.

People come to us during their most difficult times in life. Whether it’s a parent unsure how to support their teen, an adult searching for a therapist, a veteran in need of recovery resources, a senior feeling alone, or a young person in distress, we listen, build a plan, and make warm connections to trusted providers. We also stay connected to people through weekly check-ins for as long as they want, because continuity fosters trust and improves outcomes.

Our first office is in the heart of the village, where we can effectively promote access to mental health and addiction care. In 2024, we developed a new space in a quiet setting tucked conveniently off Route 9. Expanding our space for care allows us to host additional groups and pilot subsidized offices that strengthen the local mental health network. We also partner widely across schools, medical services, mental health providers of all kinds, and local government to turn a fragmented system into a supportive network.

We work toward building a community where everyone can thrive because seeking help is normal and support is within reach.
